I'm Phil, the very proud owner of a lovely but rather neglected old farmhouse in the beautiful region of Le Marche in Central Itlay.
You might have seen my YouTube videos, or perhaps you caught up with me on Instagram or Tiktok. Whichever way you found me, I'm so glad you're sharing this incredible journey with me and I can't wait to share my experiences with you.

I have spent my whole life living and working in West Yorkshire, Northern England where I have two grown up children and one (soon to be two) grandchildren, but I’d always had a love for adventure and a yearning to live in italy.
When the kids grew up I thought "this is my chance" and it might be my last chance to follow that dream. So after a lot of looking around, I jumped in feet first and bought this old farmhouse with the idea of transformng it into a beautiful home for me to share with my friends and family.
I do have a confession to make though... I am a Construction Consultant and Project Manager in the UK so I have some understanding about what I’m doing as I’ve done this many times in the UK but this will be a first in Italy.
But this channel is not just about me and my house, it’s about finding a new way to live, realising ambitions and embracing the unexpected - a real adventure!
